NOW RECRUITING IL CAMPUS COMPACT AMERICORPS*VISTA MEMBERS!
ILCC Campus Compact is currently accepting applications for AmeriCorps VISTA members who are interested in education to help develop our Campus-Community Partnerships Program.
With the main goal of building long-term capactiy for communities to work towards eradicating poverty, ILCC*VISTA members serve across Illinois at institutions of higher education and respective community partners. The 2013-2014 projects are grounded in the following focus areas: Education (youth at risk, K-12 Academic Achievement and College Access). Access and Success (First Generation College Students) and Working with Student Veterans.
ILCC*VISTAs are supported with professional and leadership development opportunities through ILCC and at their host campus.
Candidates are able to choose their service site from the following list of campuses:

University of Illinois- Springfield
Wright College
Application Deadline: 06/20/2013. VISTA members' term of service may begin in June, July or August of 2013.
members term of service will begin on June 22 2013, July 20 2013 and August 16 2013 with mandatory orientations beginning on June 18 2013, July 16 2013 and August 12 2013 respectively.
