Vincentian Service Day is a one day service event hosted by DePaul University where students, staff, faculty and Community Partners come together in a Vincentian, Catholic and Urban way to serve our Community Partners. It’s about what the community needs are.

The Service Speaks Conference highlights the work of students, faculty and community partners who are greatly impacted by their service-learning and social justice experiences. Participate in a day-long conference featuring panels, presentations, workshops and posters that reflect the impact of service-learning on critical social issues in Chicago and internationally. The keynote speaker Jill Mairn the Communications & Programs Director of the Restavek Foundation. The mission of Restavek is to end child slavery in Haiti through education, advocacy work and investment in Haiti.

whose valuable knowledge and diverse perspectives can inform efforts to deepen civic and
community engagement in higher education.

and other information from a network of research universities committed to engaged scholarship,
coordinated by Campus Compact.
